My love for interior styling stretches back to when I was a small child drawing bedroom floor plans, regularly asking my parents to help me move my bedroom furniture around, visiting every new show home in the area with my mother and pouring over fabric samples my father used to bring home from work. Now qualified with a Diploma from the National Design Academy, I finally took the plunge and set up Menagerie Interiors. Having worked in design and brand management in some of the top London agencies for over 20 years, it was time to focus on my own creative passions, with a view to helping people create their own beautiful and unique homes.
The company name Menagerie Interiors came from my absolute joy of finding original, inspiring and sometimes quirky art, materials and accessories across the UK. From boutiques to high end brands, there is a wealth of wonderful design work out there to suit all tastes and budgets.
My signature style is classic contemporary with a neutral palette as a foundation, adding accent colours, patterns and well considered art and accessories to create a unique design edge. But my style is not restrictive. Designing your home is about creating an environment that reflects you and the things you love. I like to call it 'authentic styling'.
