Data protection
Menagerie Interiors respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your data. This privacy policy gives you information on how we collect and process your personal data. Menagerie Interiors Limited is the controller and responsible for your personal data (“we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy policy). We may collect, store, use and transfer personal data which you provide to us, such as your name, address, email address and telephone number. Any personal information you provide to us for the purpose of both communication and delivering our services, will be kept private and confidential.
We will only use your personal data where the law allows us to, most commonly to enable us to perform a contract we have, or are about to enter into, with you, where it is necessary for our legitimate interests, where we need to comply with a legal obligation.
You can choose to receive ongoing company news and promotions via email. This form of contact is optional and you are required to ‘opt in’ to receive this information. You can ‘opt out’ at any time by requesting to unsubscribe via email. You can also choose to ‘follow/unfollow’ us on social media.
Your personal data will not be shared with third parties other than our service providers and professional advisers, unless specifically required and with prior agreement from you. We will not transfer your personal data outside of the UK.
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed and have procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach. We will only retain your personal data for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, unless you provide permission for us to retain it.
You have certain legal rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including a right to access your personal data, a right to request correction or erasure of your personal data, a right to object to or restrict processing of your personal data, a request to transfer personal data and a right to withdraw consent.
If you wish to exercise any of your legal rights, if any data you have provided to us is out of date or has changed and you would like us to continue to communicate with you, or if you have any questions about this privacy policy or our privacy practices, please contact: deborah@menagerieinteriors.co.uk.
You have a right at any time to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk). We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the ICO so please contact us in the first instance.
